About the Florida CDL written test
To get a Florida Class A CDL (tractor-trailer), you have to pass three separate written tests at the Tax Collector office: General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles. Each test has its own question pool, its own passing score (80%), and its own retake rules.
Most schools sell one "CDL bundle" that mixes everything together. We sell each test separately because most students only need to study one or two — and you shouldn't pay for material you don't need.
All four simulators are available today — General Knowledge for $129 (7 days), Air Brakes for $69 (7 days), Combination Vehicles for $69 (7 days), and Pre-Trip Inspection for $99 (7 days).
